Flying to New York. It was a quick bus ride from the airport to Grand Central, and from there a short walk to the hotel. I had two interesting conversations along the way. On the plane I had a politically-charged discussion with an accountant heading in on a business trip, while on the bus I had an animated conversation with an Oregon resident stopping to visit family before heading to Israel. We were still talking when the bus arrived at the terminal, and she gave me her email so we could continue the discussion later, but in an act of stupidity the day after the trip I accidentally wiped all the information off my handheld, losing her address and four days of journal entries in the process.
