Later on, smores were the order of the evening. I decided to try to be creative by embedding a Rolo in a marshmallow. This attempt revealed a number of logistical issues: An average Rolo is too big to be successfully wrapped in an average-size jumbo marshmallow. Also, when finally embedded, there's the problem of marshmallow/Rolo stability after being pierced by the fire stick. Fundamentally unstable by nature, I was unable to keep the experiment on the fire very long due to concerns that it may fall apart. (Hence the pale color of the finished product.) All the work would've been worth it had the result been tasty, but I'm sad to report the Rolo/smore combination left a lot to be desired.
