Uncle Sam 4th Of July BASH-A-ROO

Update, 5 July 2001: Well, the coals are cool, the wine is gone and the kitchen is still a mess. 16 fine individuals attended the Fourth Of July Back Porch BASH-A-ROOTM and so far we've gotten only one report of food poisioning. All in all, pretty good.

Thanks to everyone who came. And now, off to the photos.

Brats, burgers, compressed vegetable matter, tasty beverages and a celebration of the all-consuming American culture. When that's done, we're going to go downtown and watch the explosions.

Side Note #1: I generally don't drink and couldn't identify a good beer to save my life. So, if you want alcohol, please bring your own. The tasty beverages referred to above will include soda, chai tea and the like, although there may be wine available if I get ambitious.

Side Note #2: If you have any deck or lawn chairs you could drag along, please do. I find myself deficient in this area and could use some help.

Back porch behind ---- Emerson Ave. S., Minneapolis. (Delinquent weather location: #4. Liz says it looks like a New York apartment. But, then again, I don't know if she's ever been to New York.)

5:00ish until it's time to go downtown for the fireworks (10:00); We may do something after that, too, if people feel like it. Fire gods permitting, food will start hitting the grill around 5:30.

E-mail me at mrbula@nonlocality.com or call 612.---.---- before 10:00PM Tuesday, July 3rd.

It's easy to get to ---- Emerson Ave. S. #4 in Minneapolis. Parking is usually available within a block and a half, and they're small blocks. If you want a map, you can find one ----.
