Turkey Party 2004
About The Party
Turkey Party 2004, a celebration of good food, tasty conversation, nice people and non-traditional cooking devices, will be held Saturday, September 18th at 7:00. Dinner will be served sometime between 8:00 and 8:30. (Those wishing to be present for the dropping of the bird into the turkey fryer should arrive around 6:45.) Of course, vegetarian dishes will be available for those not wishing to partake in the bird.

Location
Mark's apartment at 1928 Emerson Ave. S. #21 in Minneapolis (map). Parking is usually available within a block and a half, and they're small blocks.

RSVP
Please RSVP by Thursday, September 16th by calling (612) 703-3772 or emailing Mark at turkey(at)nonlocality.com. Turkey Party 2004 will be quasi-potluck. It's cool for guests to bring food or drink, but no one is by any means obligated to do so. (If you feel like contributing, please contact Mark to make sure you're not doubling up on someone else.) Hope to see you there!

Help Wanted
Dinner parties can be complicated events, especially when a 15-pound turkey and eight gallons of 300-degree vegetable oil are involved. Mark needs one or two people to help out starting around 5:30 through the time the bird is served. Volunteers will be compensated with a small gift and lots of appreciation. If you're interested, please contact him at turkey(at)nonlocality.com.
If you're bored, or just want to see the history of this crazy event, the 2003, 2002, 2001 and 2000 Turkey Party websites are still online.
